The reason I practice acupuncture is to provide you with a safe, effective, time-tested and cost efficient healing opportunity.

 

The treatment process offers high quality downtime that quickly takes your body into a receptive state. Locations chosen for treatment induce healing in very specific ways tailored for your individual needs.

 

Acupuncture is very effective at gently guiding your body through a healing process. Although it is a practice involving needles, they are so very thin that most people hardly feel them and find the process very relaxing. In fact, they are so small that 8 - 10 solid, stainless steel acupuncture needles can fit inside the bore of a typical hypodermic needle.

Because acupuncture treats the whole person - body, mind & spirit - we often find that it has side benefits, meaning issues begin to resolve that weren't even the ones that brought you in.

An initial appointment lasts around 75 minutes. I'll speak to you about your concerns, "listen" to your pulse and palpate acupuncture channels for diagnostic evaluation.

 Treatment may involve Tui Na (East Asian bodywork), cupping, guasha (scraping) or moxibustion, in addition to acupuncture, scalp acupuncture and electro-acupuncture.
